RIBBON CUTTING AT LUBBOCK COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE LAW ENFORCEMENT CENTER

On Wednesday, June 7, 2017, Sheriff Kelly S. Rowe and a slew of county and city officials, as well as law enforcement members from different branches, gathered for the ribbon cutting of the new Law Enforcement Center. The new center is located on 712 Broadway Street near the county courthouse.

Sheriff Rowe said the new center is “going to make for such better operations with regard to all of our law enforcement functions. People have room to do what they need to do. They’ve got the spaces. They’ve got the appropriate equipment. They can train like they need to as much as they need to. And we can support the entire South Plains region as we’ve always done.”

After the ribbon cutting ceremony, guests were invited to take a tour of the new space where the Lubbock officials will be calling their new home.
