LUBBOCK, TX–On Tuesday afternoon, Lubbock County Democratic Chairman Stuart Williams, announced the upcoming visit of U.S. Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke (D-El Paso) in Lubbock on Saturday afternoon. "Congressman O'Rourke's visit to Lubbock is indicative of the rise in local democratic party activity throughout the South Plains," said Lubbock County Democratic Party Chairman Stuart Williams. A fourth-generation Texan, O'Rourke successfully took on a 16-year incumbent and represents Texas's 16th congressional district in his hometown of El Paso.
